I am a German architect that came to Monteverde Costa Rica in 1999. I love the out doors and nature. My passion are horses and Equestrian Endurance which followed my business “Smiling Horses”, a touristic riding establishment. I raised my daughter here and attended the MFS for 14 years. She followed her dreams with a degree with honors and Firestone medal in Political Science at Stanford University. I am hosting since 2005 the well-known vacation home TreeTop House in Monteverde. I love to share my knowledge and expertise here in the area and around Costa Rica in all aspects and help you plan your trip. My main purpose at this point is to coach experienced riders in Endurance Riding. You name the hours and I set up the perfect ride for you.
